Commercial Water Damage – Tampa Office

Commercial water damage struck this Tampa office when there was a groundwater intrusion related to a severe thunderstorm in the area. Polled water can be seen in the before photo. The manager of the building was familiar with SERVPRO of West Tampa and contacted the firm for help. Upon arriving at the scene of commercial water damage our highly trained and industry certified technicians would evaluate the total damage caused by the water intrusion. They would then develop a step by step plan of action to return the offices to preloss condition. The crew would suction up any standing water and measure the moisture content of the subflooring with hi-tech moisture detection meters. The baseboards would need to be removed to gain access to the portion of drywall that had wicked up moisture from the floor. Portions of the drywall near the floor would be removed to allow for drying the interior of the walls. After drying was completed, the entire area would be treated with an antimicrobial agent.
